Todays MP test run, went much better the one last Sunday. We could play for 1 ½ hour before our light sources burned out and we were Grue-food. Obvious I need to put bigger batteries in the lantern. A few bugs that makes me concerned is one where dropping an item to the ground makes it disappear. I can't see what I could make wrong and it only happened once. Another is that effects that are removed from the PC shows up again after an area transition. Very strange. Lots of issues we found are related to broadcasting messages to party or not and some other smaller MP screw-ups. I've also messed too much with a couple of areas and lost some tiles and the door transitions. Easy fixed but irritating.
Only one screen shot this time. It shows a bit of in-game object interaction to compare with the text game (if you have played it). The original game would have looked something like:
This is an art gallery. Most of the paintings have been
stolen by vandals with exceptional taste. The vandals left
through either the north or west exits.
A painting by a neglected genius is here.

looking good. if oyu ever want additional playtesting, let me know!
I voted for rar in poll. I like seeing what I'm getting. Some players are strongly anti-exe from what I've seen. I don;t mind either, but am used to and happy with zip/rar
This looks like too much fun.
Yeah I've never been able to figure the no .exe thing. As a Module maker there's no way I'd want to go around virusing people's computers when the Vault has all my personal information and IP addresses logged.
I really like when the mod-builder makes me an .exe. It's so easy to install and have the un-install feature. It's also a pretty simple way to manage patches with version control and such. The concern of being infected by evil code is close to paranoia :) but I respect it. I'm also like that when I don't know what's in the box. So I believe I'll provide a setup program for the not so handy (you can read hundreds of qustions about how to install that module x) and a compressed package for the more experienced users.
BTW every gamer should scan the files they are downloading and running and have a working registry protector.
