Tinkering

Just one word (actually three) Custom Load Hints. A whole Sunday of them. It's cool that you can associate them with an specific area. Didn't know that that was doable.

I say that doing this last minute tinkering is like plastic surgery.
- Hm, those bags under my eyes has to be fixed.
- Oh now that the bags are gone my wrinkles looks so deep. Have to fix them too.
- What. Were did those love handles come from. Didn't notice them before.
- Oh, I didn't know they were called man-boobies... Can I replace them with fake muscles?
- ...Wonder, if they do whole body transplantation too...

The more I look the more I find. Like Saturday night. I was strolling around the forest areas and thought - Well, wouldn't it be nice if a map pin with a direction note showed up whenever I find a new path leaving the area to give the player a feel of discovering the area? And then I started to implement it. When I was finished with the 7 forest areas I concluded that it worked very nice and that EVERY outdoor areas must have this :) Then it was late night for an old man like me and my elbow ached from clicking, copy and pasting as a madman. But before I dropped into the bed I made a Egyptian-looking floor tile for the Egypt Room. Not perfect, but it'll do.

Thanks for reading, as always!

I know what you mean. I have a bad habit of thinking of things just before I go to bed, then having to boot up the toolset to try it out. An hour later I'm still fiddling with a script or something...
But it's sounding like the amount of polish you're putting in will pay off

An .. tinkering .. yes ... for me tinkering is synonymous with modding anyway. ;)

You get that one simple idea and then wham! ... tinkering the whole night long.

But tinkering is a sign of attention to detail and that will pay off. :)

I have said it before, this is one of my mst anticpated modules, simply because I have noticed your attention to detail and skill at implementing new material.

By the way, you do realise that anything I cannot work out how you did, I will probably pester you for information. ;) In the nicest way possible. :)

Lance.

Aw, no screenies? It would have been nice to see new load screens and that Egyptian tile you made.
